Volvo: Online Treasure Hunt   <<back

In 2006 we created a tie-in between Volvo and the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean II, Dead Man’s Chest," by turning an XC90 into buried treasure. We chose a secret location, documented its burial and then placed clues all over the Internet for an online treasure hunt. The first person to find the XC90 got to keep it. To play, you first had to pick up a "Treasure Map" at Volvo dealership.
